Bjj in heart of brno
About Us
GFT Brno was founded in March 2023 by Atila Matos, a 3rd-degree black belt from Brazil, with a vision rooted in the traditional values of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Drawing from the old-school spirit of the art, we’re continuing that legacy here in Brno—building a strong foundation for our students and a community grounded in respect, discipline, and passion.
We offer daily trainings, with a focus on clear structure, technical precision, and personal growth. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to refine your game, you’ll find a place here. Our program includes beginner-friendly classes, advanced 90-minute sessions for deeper technical development, as well as morning and evening options to fit your schedule. We accept Multisport cards. If you’re new and don’t have your own gear yet, we have Gi uniforms available to borrow.
At GFT Brno, we train hard, stay humble, and keep building—one roll at a time.
